Duties

Assist the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following aseptic techniques.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up for patients.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth workflow and optimal patient care.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred
Proficient in using dental software
Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and maintain a positive attitude in a busy environment.
Certification in Dental Assisting or EFDA is desirable.
