Schedule
Office Hours are 7:00am - 2:00pm Monday to Friday. I am looking for a Dental Hygienist to work 3-4 days. The days are negotiable. If working 4 or more days, the job is full time and benefits become applicable.
Duties
Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and assessments for patients.
Utilize medical imaging systems to capture high-quality radiographs.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Conduct patient assessments to identify any oral health issues and document findings accurately.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and treatment plans in accordance with clinic protocols.
Adhere to infection control procedures to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
Collaborate with dentists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated patient care.
Assist in the management of dental clinic operations as needed.
Qualifications
Valid dental hygienist license in the state of practice.
Proficient in medical terminology related to dentistry.
Experience with Dentrix or similar dental software systems is preferred.
Strong understanding of general dentistry practices and procedures.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and education.
Ability to perform detailed documentation review and maintain accurate records.
Knowledge of infection control standards within a dental clinic setting.
Previous experience in a dental clinic is highly desirable.
