Experienced Registered Dental Hygienist - Maughan Dentistry - Orem, UT

Seeking an Experienced Registered Dental Hygienist with experience in a busy private or group practice. Maughan Dentistry is a highly rated private-practice dental office in Utah County and we need someone who is able to help us maintain that reputation by providing exceptional, kind, quality care. Our office is currently open 7:40am-5:10pm, five days a week with no evening or weekend shifts. We would prefer someone 4 days a week, but may also be able to hire two individuals for 2.5 days per week

Responsibilities
- Show up for work on-time with a positive attitude.

- Communicate effectively by keeping accurate and detailed patient records, educating patients on the importance of preventive care along with the many options of conservative restorative to optional cosmetic procedures.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile dental office environment.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities.
Qualifications
- Registered Dental Hygienist Degree (RDH) from an accredited school and valid state license in good standing.
- Proficient knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and the ability to perform them efficiently and quickly with minimal discomfort to our patients
- Strong understanding of dental anatomy, oral health, disease prevention, and the ability to share that knowledge effectively.
- Experience with medical imaging technologies such as X-rays and Cone Beams
Compensation
Compensation is based on whether your schedule is single column or assisted double hygiene. For a qualified candidate, your base compensation would be $50/hr for single column. On assisted, double hygiene days, you will receive the $50 base pay per hour and an additional $25-$200 bonus based on the number of patients you see. On any double hygiene days, you also will have an assistant to help bring patients back, take their x-rays, reschedule them, help with treatment planning, and cleaning of rooms.
