Dental Assistant/Receptionist - West Union Family Dental - West Union, OH

We are seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team. The Dental Assistant will be responsible for providing clinical support in a dental office setting. The ideal candidate will have experience with medical administrative tasks, knowledge of dental terminology, procedures and excellent customer service skills. Serious applicants only. Responsibilities:- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments using dental scheduling software- Collect patient information and update electronic health records- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinical and lab areas- Assist with flipping operatories and sterilization- Provide support to dental providers and staff as needed
Experience:- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant- Radiographer License required- Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy practices- Experience with dental office software such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft is a plus- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
