Duties
Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments.
Conduct medical imaging procedures to assist in diagnosing oral health issues.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental check-ups
Maintain accurate patient records using Eaglesoft systems.
Implement infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff
Collaborate with the dental team to develop individualized patient care plans.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.
Requirements
Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Proficiency in medical coding related to dental procedures is a plus.
Experience with Eaglesoft software preferred.
Strong knowledge of infection control standards and practices.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient education and care.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential.
Previous experience in assisting within a dental practice is advantageous but not required.
