Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic Periodontic Dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, performing dental cleanings, and educating patients on oral hygiene practices. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology and procedures, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dental office environment.
Responsibilities

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages, including pediatrics.
Review and document patient medical records and histories accurately.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist in infection control procedures to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
Collaborate with dentists to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and treatment provided during visits.
Provide support in dental assisting tasks as needed, including preparing treatment rooms and sterilizing instruments.

Experience

Proven experience in a Periodontic dental office setting is preferred, with a strong understanding of dental terminology and medical records management.
Familiarity with infection control protocols and procedures is essential.
Previous experience in Periodontic dentistry is a plus but not required.
Strong communication skills are necessary for effective patient interaction and education.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
