Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Newark, DE
Responsibilities:- Assist the dentist during dental procedures- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for each patient- Take and develop dental X-rays- Maintain and sterilize dental equipment and instruments- Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe working environment
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience- High school diploma or equivalent- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program or relevant work experience- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments- Familiarity with medical imaging software and taking digital X-rays- Ability to perform basic dental assisting tasks such as taking vital signs and using aseptic techniques- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
