Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental clinic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during each visit. This role requires a strong understanding of dental hygiene practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Experience in pediatrics and familiarity with dental software systems such as Dentrix are highly desirable.
Duties

Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages, including pediatric patients.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care.
Take medical imaging as needed, including X-rays, to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient treatments and progress.
Assist the dentist during procedures, employing four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a smooth workflow within the clinic.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.

Experience

Previous experience as a Dental Hygienist is preferred, particularly in a pediatric dentistry setting.
Proficiency in using dental software systems, specifically Dentrix, is advantageous.
Strong background in dental assisting or related fields is a plus.
Knowledge of medical records management and imaging techniques is beneficial.
Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and comfort.
