OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our fantastic dental team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional patient care and education, while ensuring the highest standards of hygiene and infection control. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the oral health of our patients and supporting the overall operations of our dental office.
Responsibilities

Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar.
Conduct patient assessments, including taking medical histories and vital signs.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Implement infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Utilize Open Dental software for charting, scheduling, and patient records.
Collaborate with dentists to develop treatment plans based on patient assessments.

Experience

Proven experience in general dentistry practices is preferred.
Strong understanding of infection control procedures within a dental office setting.
Ability to assess patient needs effectively and communicate treatment options clearly.
Proficiency in using dental software such as Open Dental is desirable but is not necessary.
