We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, promoting oral health, and ensuring a comfortable experience for our patients. This position requires a thorough understanding of dental hygiene practices, infection control protocols, and excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients about their oral health.
Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and assessments for patients.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Administer fluoride treatments and sealants as needed.
Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or Eaglesoft systems, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Assist in the development of individualized patient care plans based on medical history and current dental health.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure effective patient care and treatment outcomes.
Uphold infection control standards to maintain a safe clinical environment.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and medical terminology.

Requirements

Valid dental hygiene license in the state of practice.
Strong knowledge of infection control protocols and practices.
Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred but not required.
Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft.
Solid understanding of anatomy related to dental health.
Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dentistry.
Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and comfort.
Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.
