The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting the dental team in various procedures. This position requires excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and sterile environment.
Responsibilities- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments are prepared and available.- Perform tasks such as taking dental radiographs, coronal polishing, and placing sealants.- Maintain medical documentation and patient records using dental software systems.- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to maintain a safe clinical environment.- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.- Manage appointment scheduling and front desk duties if needed, including answering phones and greeting patients.- Support pediatric dentistry efforts by creating a welcoming atmosphere for young patients and their families.
Experience- Any Previous experience in dental assisting- Familiarity with medical documentation processes and infection control- Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus!
