Job description
A small private dental office in Lakewood, NJ, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice on a part-time basis.
Days: Wednesdays
Hours: 8:45 am to 5:00 pm
This position offers the opportunity to work part time providing exceptional dental care to our valued patients.
Responsibilities:

Perform dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and prophylaxis
Conduct comprehensive oral exams, charting and documenting findings
Take digital dental X-rays as necessary
Administer fluoride treatments and apply dental sealants
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide oral health instruction
Maintain accurate patient records and update medical histories
Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile dental environment

Requirements:

Valid dental hygiene license in the state of New Jersey
Proven experience as a dental hygienist is preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply
Proficiency in performing dental cleanings, taking X-rays, and conducting oral examinations.

Pay: starting at $50.00 per hour (based on experience)
License/Certification:
