Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and vital signs.
Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing using aseptic techniques.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of maintaining good dental health.
Document patient care activities accurately in the electronic health record system, including Eaglesoft.
Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by providing necessary tools and support.
Review documentation to ensure compliance with dental clinic protocols and standards.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control guidelines.

Qualifications

Knowledge of anatomy related to dental health and hygiene practices.
Experience with documentation review processes in a clinical setting.
Proficiency in aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety during procedures.
Strong skills in patient care, demonstrating empathy and professionalism.
Familiarity with medical coding related to dental procedures is preferred.
Previous experience working in a dental clinic environment is advantageous.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team while maintaining excellent communication skills.
