We are excited to be hiring an RDA to join our dental team! We are a beautiful, brand-new Pediatric dental office located in Redondo Beach. The position is part-time with the potential to turn into full-time as the practice grows.
Hours: Monday- Thursday and some Saturdays.

This candidate should have excellent communication skills, be professional, organized, efficient, and a self starter with a high standard of care. Pediatric Dental experience is preferred, but not required. We are willing to train the right team member :)
Summary of Essential Job Functions:
Assist the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures as instructed
Perform supragingival coronal polishing
Prepare treatment room for patients by following prescribed procedures and protocols.
Prepares patient for dental treatment by welcoming, comforting, seating, and draping patient.
Record medical and dental histories
Provides instrumentation by sterilizing and delivering instruments to treatment area; positioning instruments for dentist's access; suctioning; passing instruments.
Provides materials by selecting, mixing, and placing on instruments
Provides diagnostic information by taking radiographs; pouring, trimming, and polishing study casts.
Responsible for patient flow, keeping treatment rooms neat and organized
Educates patients by giving oral hygiene, plaque control, and postoperative instructions as prescribed and directed.
Documents dental care services by charting in patient records.
Maintains safe and clean working environment in compliance with office policies and procedures, safety and OSHA guidelines and adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
Ensures operation of dental equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques as instructed
Participate in the achievement of patient satisfaction and office production goals by working efficiently and providing a high level of patient service.
Maintain regular attendance and adhere to assigned work schedule and office policies
Must be able to work both independently and cooperatively in team settings
Ability to project a positive, warm and professional image
Strong organizational skills
Ability to multitask, take initiative and anticipate the needs of others
Works well in a team with humor, enthusiasm, respect & integrity
Minimum Requirements:
Current California RDA license.
Current basic life support (CPR) certification. (Course can be provided for you if you are not in compliance)
Good communication skills.
Ability to perform detailed work according to established formats and protocols.
