Job Overview:
As a Dental Hygienist at our office, you will play a crucial role in providing top-notch oral health care to our patients. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting dental cleanings, examining patients for signs of oral diseases, and educating patients on proper oral hygiene practices.
Duties:
- Perform thorough dental cleanings to remove plaque and tartar buildup
- Conduct oral health assessments and screenings to discuss full body health.
- Take and develop dental x-rays using advanced medical imaging technology (digital)
- Assist in medical documentation and maintaining accurate patient records
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques tailored to their needs
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless patient care
- Comfortable in pediatric dentistry to provide exceptional care for our younger patients
Skills:
- Proficiency in medical terminology and documentation
- Strong knowledge of general dentistry practices and procedures
- Familiarity with pediatric dentistry techniques
- Ability to work efficiently within dental clinic systems
- Exceptional communication skills to interact effectively with patients and colleagues
