Registered Dental Hygienist - Flemington Dental Arts - Flemington, NJ

Come join our small but busy office as a part-time Dental Hygienist. Your week can be one or possibly two days, there is room for flexibility. Our doctor has been in the dental industry for over 20 years. We are constantly looking for ways to improve and bring in new techniques, technology, and information for our patients. Responsibilities:

Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth
Take x-rays
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and make recommendations
Assist the dentist during procedures
Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans
Follow aseptic techniques to ensure infection control
Adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy
Schedule patient recall appointments
Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care
All duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Valid NJ Dental Hygiene license
1+ years experience in dental hygiene
Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy related to oral health
Familiarity with Dentrix or Oryx
Proficient in using aseptic techniques for infection control
Xray certification
Excellent communication skills to educate and interact with patients effectively
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining patient records
