Responsibilities:
-Assist the dentist during dental procedures
-Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take X-rays (Panoramic/FMX/CBCT)
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Perform infection control procedures to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Schedule and confirm appointments
- Assist with front office tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program or minimum of 2 years dental assistant experience preferred
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments
- Proficiency in infection control protocols
-Experience with Dentrix or similar dental software
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills
