Associate General Dentist - Lux Dental - Saugus, MA

Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental clinic. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general dentistry and be proficient in various dental procedures, including dental extractions, prosthodontics, and oral surgery. The Dentist will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients while adhering to infection control protocols and maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments of patients' oral health.
Diagnose dental conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Perform a variety of dental procedures, including but not limited to fillings, crowns, bridges, extractions, and root canals.
Administer anesthesia as needed for patient comfort during procedures.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care to promote overall dental health.
Collaborate with dental hygienists and support staff to ensure efficient clinic operations.
Stay current with advancements in dentistry by participating in continuing education opportunities.

Requirements

Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
Valid state dental license with no disciplinary actions.
Proficiency in using electronic health record systems is preferred.
Strong knowledge of infection control practices and medical terminology related to dentistry.
Experience in performing oral surgery and managing complex cases is a plus.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
