Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist with 5+ years experience to join our dynamic dental practice and works on Thursdays. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in various dental procedures and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. As an Associate Dentist, you will play a vital role in diagnosing and treating dental issues, while ensuring a comfortable and positive experience for our patients.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine oral health needs.
Perform a range of dental procedures including fillings, extractions, root canal therapy, and oral surgery.
Fabricate dental appliances and prosthetics as needed, utilizing knowledge of dental fabrication techniques.
Maintain aseptic techniques throughout all procedures to ensure patient safety and compliance with health regulations.
Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to provide high-quality patient care.
Utilize Eaglesoft software for patient record management and treatment planning.
Educate patients on oral health practices and preventive care measures.
Stay updated on advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities.
Skills
Strong knowledge of human anatomy related to dental health.
Proficient in performing complex dental procedures including prosthodontics and root canal therapy.
Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively.
Familiarity with aseptic techniques to ensure safe treatment environments.
Experience with Eaglesoft or similar dental practice management software is preferred.
Ability to perform oral surgery with precision and care.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members in a clinical setting.
