OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting the dental team in delivering exceptional services. As a Dental Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with various dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining an organized and efficient office environment.
Duties

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in compliance with safety and infection control protocols.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed by the dentist.
Record patient medical history, vital signs, and other relevant information accurately in the patient management system.
Manage patient appointments, including scheduling, confirmations, and follow-ups.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions.
Maintain accurate records of treatments performed using dental software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix.
Ensure the dental operatory is clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.

Experience

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not required; we are willing to train motivated candidates.
Familiarity with dental terminology, medical terminology, and HIPAA regulations is essential.
Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix is a plus.
Experience with 3D scanners is advantageous but not mandatory.
Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
