Responsibilities:
Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including taking x-rays, preparing and sterilizing instruments, and providing patient care and education
Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations, keeping them clean and organized
Maintain patient records and update patient information
Assist with laboratory procedures, such as taking impressions and pouring models
Provide patient education on oral hygiene and preventive care
Ensure that all instruments and equipment are properly sterilized and maintained
Follow all safety protocols and infection control procedures
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Must have a current radiology license or permit
Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Detail-oriented and able to multitask
Ability to follow instructions and take direction
We are looking for Dental Assistants and Expanded Functions Dental Assistants (EFDAs) to join our team. These individuals will be responsible for providing chair-side assistance to the dentist during dental procedures, assisting the hygienist, preparing and sterilizing instruments, and providing patient care and education. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, be detail-oriented, and have a strong knowledge of dental procedures.
