Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and possess a range of dental assisting skills, including dental duties, medical knowledge, X-Ray proficiency, and experience with four-handed dentistry.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
- Set up and prepare equipment for dental procedures
- Take X-rays
- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
- Perform various office tasks as needed, including answering phones and scheduling appointments
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and dental clinic standards
**Qualifications:**
- Proven experience working as a Dental Assistant or in a related role
- Proficiency in Open Dental or similar dental software
- Familiarity with dental assisting techniques such as four-handed dentistry
- Strong understanding of infection control practices
- Certification in Dental Assisting
