Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating various dental conditions, performing procedures, and educating patients on oral health practices. A strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and infection control protocols is essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities

Conduct thorough examinations of patients' oral health and diagnose dental conditions.
Perform a variety of dental procedures, including dental extractions, fillings, and implant restorations.
Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Utilize aseptic techniques to ensure infection control during all procedures.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to provide comprehensive patient care.
Stay updated on advancements in dentistry and participate in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
Proficiency in medical terminology and anatomy knowledge relevant to dentistry.
Experience with Epic or similar electronic health record systems is preferred.
Strong understanding of infection control practices and aseptic techniques.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and comfort.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment within a dental office setting.
