OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental clinic. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology and procedures, as well as proficiency in medical documentation and imaging systems.
Duties
Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment, adhering to aseptic techniques.
Take medical imaging using digital X-ray systems and 3D scanners as needed.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient visit.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Manage appointment scheduling, including confirming appointments and follow-ups.
Ensure the dental clinic is clean, organized, and compliant with health regulations.
Collaborate with the dental team to improve patient care processes.
Experience
Previous experience in dental assisting or a related field is preferred.
Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures is essential.
Proficiency in medical documentation systems, such as Epic, is advantageous.
Experience with medical imaging techniques and equipment is a plus.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are required.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.

Pay: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour
