Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team on a full or part time basis. As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for performing dental cleanings, educating patients on oral hygiene practices, and assisting the dental team in various procedures. Responsibilities

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and assessments to maintain patients' oral health.
Take and document vital signs as part of the patient evaluation process.
Assist the dentist during procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
Review medical records and maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
Implement aseptic techniques to ensure a safe and sterile environment.
Manage infection control protocols to protect both patients and staff.
Provide care for pediatric patients with a focus on comfort and education.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.

Requirements

Valid dental hygiene license in the state of practice.
Proficiency in medical terminology related to dentistry.
Strong knowledge of general dentistry practices and procedures.
Experience with documentation review and maintaining medical records.
Familiarity with infection control standards and aseptic techniques.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively.
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while assisting other dental professionals.
