Registered Dental Hygienist - Cambridge Square Dental - Morganville, NJ

Duties:- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and debridement- Take dental x-rays for diagnostic purposes
-Perform health scans- Assist the dentist during dental procedures- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral care instructions- Conduct screenings for oral health conditions such as gum disease and oral cancer- Administer local anesthesia as needed- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic medical documentation systems (Eagle Soft)- Adhere to strict infection control protocols to ensure the safety of patients and staff- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in dental hygiene techniques and technologies
Skills:- Proficient in dental hygien techniques and procedures- Knowledge of medical imaging software for capturing and analyzing dental x-rays- Familiarity with electronic medical documentation systems- Strong understanding of infection control protocols in a dental settings- Solid understanding of human anatomy, particularly oral anatomy- Ability to take vital signs and record them accurately- Excellent dental documentation skills for maintaining detailed patient records- Familiarity with medical/ dental terminology related to dental procedures and conditions
