We are currently looking for a dedicated dental hygienist to join our team and help us continue our mission of delivering outstanding dental care to our patients.
Job Description:
As a hygienist, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive preventive dental care to our patients. You will work closely with our experienced doctors and dental team to perform various duties, including cleaning teeth, performing oral health assessments, educating patients, and assisting with other dental procedures as needed.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform thorough dental cleanings (prophylaxis), scaling, and root planing.
Take dental X-rays as required.
Conduct patient assessments, including reviewing medical history and medication lists.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions.
Provide fluoride treatments and place sealants.
Assist in charting and maintaining accurate patient records.
Providing support to the office as necessary.
Ensure that all dental equipment and instruments are sterilized and ready for use.
Keep up-to-date with new dental hygiene techniques, treatments, and tools.

Qualifications:

Valid state licensure as a Dental Hygienist.
Associate’s degree or higher in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program.
Experience in performing dental cleanings, assessments, and X-rays.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to educate patients on proper dental care and hygiene.
Knowledge of dental software and patient management systems — Eaglesoft used at our office
Detail-oriented, organized, and committed to patient care.
CPR certification (or the ability to obtain it before starting work).

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with periodontal therapy and advanced cleaning techniques.
Additional certifications (e.g., local anesthesia, laser treatment).
Previous experience in a dental office setting.
