Permanent Dental Hygienist Job in Los Gatos, CA

Dental Hygienist | Join Our Los Gatos Team
Our Practice Philosophy
We believe that great dentistry starts with a great team. Our practice in Los Gatos is more than just a dental office; it’s a space where we value professional growth, authentic patient relationships, and a supportive, "no-drama" culture. We are looking for a collaborative Dental Hygienist who is passionate about preventive care and wants to feel truly valued for their expertise.
The Role
As a Dental Hygienist you are the educator and advocate for our patients’ health. We trust your clinical judgment and look to you to:
Deliver Exceptional Care: Provide gentle and thorough cleanings (prophy and SRP) using the latest tools and techniques.
Partner in Health: Perform oral screenings and assessments to help the doctor co-diagnose and create meaningful treatment plans.
Educate & Inspire: Share your knowledge with patients to help them achieve their best oral health at home.
Innovate: Utilize digital X-rays and intraoral imaging to provide a clear picture of patient health.
What Makes You a Great Fit
We aren't looking for a "perfect" list of traits, but we do value:
A Positive Energy: A friendly, welcoming demeanor that makes patients feel at ease from the moment they sit in your chair.
Team Spirit: A willingness to jump in and support your teammates when needed—we all work together to make the day run smoothly.
Communication: The ability to explain clinical findings clearly and encouraging for patients.
Adaptability: Comfort with a modern, fast-paced environment where we embrace new technology to improve patient care.
While the role involves the typical physical demands of hygiene (sitting, standing, and fine motor work), we prioritize a sustainable pace and manageable daily schedules.
Experience & Education (Required)
Associate degree from an ADA-accredited dental hygienist school.
Current California State Licensure.
CPR Certification.
Certified in anesthesia and/or sedation, as appropriate for the role.
Preferred: At least one year of dental experience.
