Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality dental care to patients of all ages, with a focus on general dentistry and pediatric services. This role requires proficiency in patient assessment, medical imaging, and maintaining accurate medical documentation while adhering to HIPAA regulations. The Associate Dentist will work collaboratively with our dental team to ensure a comfortable and efficient experience for all patients.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including oral examinations and diagnostic imaging.
Provide a range of dental services, including preventive care, restorative procedures, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry.
Maintain accurate medical documentation for each patient visit in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Educate patients on oral health practices and treatment options.
Collaborate with dental hygienists and other staff to ensure optimal patient care and clinic operations.
Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and techniques to enhance service delivery.
Manage patient records within the dental office software system efficiently.
Requirements
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
Strong knowledge of general dentistry principles, medical terminology, and procedures.
Experience or interest in pediatrics is preferred.
Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and equipment.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and staff.
Ability to maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment while providing compassionate care.
