Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques and take quality digital X-rays.
Prepare and maintain the treatment area, ensuring it is clean and organized according to aseptic techniques.
Take and record vital signs, medical history, and other relevant patient information.
Manage medical records accurately, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.
Provide chairside assistance in various dental specialties including general dentistry, pediatrics, prosthodontics, and more.
Educate patients on post-operative care and proper oral hygiene practices.
Sterilize instruments and manage infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Manage patient flow within the office.
Fabricating Temporary crowns.

Requirements

Minimum 1 Year of dental assisting experience (general dentistry preferred).
Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry is essential.
Familiarity with infection control protocols and OSHA regulations is required..
Experience with pediatric dentistry is a plus but not mandatory.
Skilled in fabricating temporary crowns and assisting with all restorative procedures.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Ability to take quality digital X-rays and impressions (digital and Traditional).
Must be a team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
Active RDA license in the state of Texas.
Working 2 Saturdays a month.

Hours:

Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays 9am- 5pm .
Wednesdays 10:00am -6:00 pm.
1 hour daily lunch break.
Closed on Sundays and Mondays.
Some Saturdays 10:00am to 4:00 pm.
