Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing dental cleanings, and educating patients on oral hygiene practices. This role requires a strong commitment to patient safety and comfort, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dental office environment.
Responsibilities

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages.
Review patient documentation and medical history to ensure comprehensive care.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Perform medical imaging as needed, including X-rays, to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
Record vital signs and other relevant patient information accurately in the dental software system (Dentrix).
Collaborate with dentists and other staff members to provide exceptional patient care.

Skills

Proficient in documentation review and maintaining accurate patient records.
Strong focus on patient care with excellent interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of aseptic techniques to ensure safety during procedures.
Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dental practice.
Competence in medical imaging techniques and equipment usage.
Proficient in using Dentrix or similar dental office management software is a bonus!
Ability to assess and record vital signs accurately.
