Overview:We are seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting the endodontist and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental office. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to get into the dental field since no experience is required and we will train you. Responsibilities:- Assist the endodontist during dental procedures, including preparing and sterilizing instruments, passing instruments to the dentist, and suctioning oral cavities- Take and develop dental x-rays as directed by the dentist- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations, ensuring cleanliness and organization- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures, anticipating the needs of the dentist and patients- Perform basic laboratory tasks and educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions- Maintain accurate patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and medical history updates
Skills:- Ability to provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with patients of all ages- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail- Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply.
