Pediatric Dental Assistant - Wading River Pediatric Dentistry - Wading River, NY

Duties:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, will train right person- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments- Take and develop dental x-rays- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care- Perform patient assessments and record vital signs- Provide support for pediatric dental procedures- Maintain accurate medical documents
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent- Current certification in dental assisting (CDA) preferred, or prior experience but will train right candidate- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments, but will train- Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work well in a team environment- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
