Duties:- Interact warmly and professionally with patients to ensure a positive dental experience.- Assist the dentist during procedures, including Prosthodontics and Endodontics, by handing instruments, performing suction, and anticipating the dentist's needs.- Maintain strict infection control protocols and adhere to aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.- Utilize medical terminology accurately for effective communication with the dental team.- Handle medical documentation efficiently to maintain accurate patient records.- Familiarity with Eaglesoft software systems is preferred for managing patient information effectively.- Demonstrate knowledge of dental terminology to assist in patient education and understanding.- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, cleaning surfaces, setting up equipment, taking impressions, and pouring models.
Qualifications:- Completion of a Dental Assistant program or relevant certification.- Radiographer certificate is required.- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.- Basic computer skills are necessary for record keeping and scheduling.
