Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
Take dental x-rays as needed.
Record patient medical histories, vital signs, and other relevant information accurately.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Maintain accurate patient records using dental software.
Follow aseptic techniques to prevent infection and ensure a clean working environment.
Assist in general dentistry procedures, including fillings, crowns, and extractions.
Creating a friendly atmosphere for patients.

Qualifications

Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred.
Familiarity with aseptic techniques and infection control protocols is essential.
Knowledge of vital signs monitoring and medical coding is advantageous.
Experience in endodontics is a plus but not required.
Proficiency in using dental software .
Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients of all ages.
A compassionate demeanor with a focus on providing excellent patient care.
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
