More about the role

Assist dentist chairside during a variety of treatment procedures
Chart and take dental radiographs (Xrays)
Make temporary crown/bridges, place fillings, perform denture adjustments
Review dental records with patients, providing instruction on postoperative procedures
Prepare and break down operatory and equipment prior to and between each patient visit
Maintain accurate patient records

Minimum Qualifications

Current radiography certification required
Current EFDA (Expanded Function Dental Assistant) certification required
