Tedford Family Dentistry is looking for a energetic dental assistant who enjoys patient care within a fantastic work environment. Previous assisting experience is necessary. We are a family general dental practice located in Ooltewah, TN.
Responsibilities

Prepare patients for treatments and assisting Dr. Tedford chairside
Select and set up instruments, equipment and materials needed
Sterilize instruments according to regulations
Undertake lab tasks as instructed
Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked
Schedule appointments using Eaglesoft
Assist with payment procedures
Ordering supplies

Skills

Proven experience as dental assistant
Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
Understanding of health & safety regulations
Good computer skills
Familiarization with intraoral scanning
Excellent communication and people skills
Attention to detail
Well-organized and reliable
High school diploma; graduating from dental assistant school is preferred
Front office skills are an asset (e.g. EFDA)

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
