Dental Assistant - Ence Dental Care - Salt Lake City, UT

We are looking for a competent dental assistant who will make our dental office more efficient and pleasant for patients. You will be assisting the dentist in all procedures. Must be well-organized with attention to details, have excellent communication skills, and able to follow instructions. Some responsibilities include:

Preparing the operatory and taking it down for procedures
Keep operatory clean and well-stocked
Taking digital x-rays
Sterilizing instruments and equipment
Help in educating patients with pre-op and post-op care
Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry during various dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
Maintain accurate patient records and update medical history information.
Ensure a clean, organized, and efficient work environment

Prior experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred, but recent dental assistant school graduates are encouraged to apply. Knowledge of dental equipment and materials and proficiency in Dentrix software is a plus.
Compensation is based on experience.
