Pediatric Dental Assistant - Hawks Prairie Pediatric Dentistry - Lacey, WA

Our office is busy and growing and we are looking to add a Registered Dental Assistant to work in our pediatric dental office. State of the art, locally owned Pediatric Dental Office in Lacey/Olympia.
Weekly hours range between 32-40 hours a week. Must be friendly, energetic, great with kids, and a team player with a positive attitude. Detail oriented with great communication skills, particularly with children and parents are a necessity!
Previous experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right person if experience is limited!

Duties:

Prepare treatment rooms, instruments and tray setups for dental procedures
Sterilize dental instruments and equipment for each patient
Greet and prepare patients for treatment
Expose dental diagnostic x-rays
Perform dental prophylaxis on patients
Assist the doctor during examinations and treatment procedures
Train patients in techniques of oral hygiene & prevention of oral disease
Make patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment
Assisting doctor during sedation and general anesthesia procedures
Other duties as required

Qualifications:

Previous experience in dentistry preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate
Proficient computer and typing skills and software knowledge
State RDA license
CPR up to date
pay: varies, depending on experience. Including full medical benefits, vision, paid vacation (paid vacation after required work-length milestones)

All applicants must have an active State of Washington Department of Health Dental Assistant license.
