We are seeking a part-time dental assistant to join our friendly general dental office. This is a great opportunity to use your skills in both front and back office duties in a supportive, low-stress setting.
Hours: Mon, Tue, 9:00am-5:00pm; Wed, Fri 9:00am-12:00pm

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team for the front and back office. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, a patient-centered approach, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting. Responsibilities include greeting patients, scheduling and confirming appointments, answering phones, setting up instruments, equipment and materials, sterilizing instruments according to regulations, assisting the dentist through 4-handed dentistry, fabricating temporary crowns, undertaking lab tasks as instructed, providing oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions, keeping the dental room clean and well-stocked, and other tasks as assigned. This is a long term stable position for the right candidate.
Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited dental assisting program preferred.
X-ray certification required.
CPR certification is a plus.
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
Proficiency in dental software and digital radiography.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
