OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing high-quality dental care to our patients. You will be responsible for performing dental cleanings, educating patients on oral hygiene, and assisting the dental team in delivering exceptional care. The ideal candidate will have experience in both general and pediatric dentistry, with proficiency in relevant dental software systems.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages.
Review patient documentation and medical histories to ensure comprehensive care.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Take xrays and record vital signs as necessary to monitor patient health.
Utilize dental terminology effectively when communicating with patients and team members.
Maintain accurate patient records.
Collaborate with the dental team to provide a seamless patient experience.
Requirements
Valid Dental Hygienist license in accordance with state regulations.
Experience in general dentistry is preferred.
Proficiency in using Dentrix or similar software systems.
Strong understanding of dental terminology and procedures.
Ability to perform documentation review accurately.
Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
Knowledge of vital signs monitoring is advantageous.
Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
We are open to patients Mondays 11-5, Tuesdays/Wednesdays/Thursdays 7-6. No Fridays or weekends. We are also flexible on your needed working hours.
