Responsibilities

Conduct thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and performing dental examinations.
Provide a range of dental services, including preventive care, restorative procedures, and emergency treatments.
Utilize medical imaging technology to diagnose and plan treatment effectively.
Maintain accurate medical documentation in accordance with practice policies and HIPAA regulations.
Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants in four-handed dentistry to enhance patient comfort and treatment efficiency.
Educate patients on oral health practices, treatment options, and preventive care strategies.
Stay current with advancements in dentistry and participate in ongoing professional development opportunities.

Experience

Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
Experience or training in pediatrics is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with Eaglesoft software for patient management is a plus.
Strong understanding of medical terminology, patient care protocols, and medical documentation practices.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
