OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their visit. As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for performing preventative dental care, educating patients on oral hygiene, and assisting the dentist in various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology and practices, as well as excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to maintain patient oral health.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Review patient documentation and medical histories to assess individual needs.
Utilize medical imaging technologies to assist in diagnosing dental conditions.
Assist in pediatric dentistry procedures, ensuring a comfortable experience for younger patients.
Maintain an aseptic technique during all procedures to ensure patient safety.
Collaborate with the dentist during treatments using four-handed dentistry techniques.
Document patient treatments and progress accurately within the practice management software, such as Eaglesoft.
Stay updated on the latest dental practices and technologies to provide the best care.
Requirements
Valid Dental Hygienist license in accordance with state regulations.
Experience working in a dental clinic setting is preferred.
Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures is essential.
Knowledge of medical imaging techniques is advantageous.
Experience or interest in pediatrics and pediatric dentistry is a plus.
Proficiency in using Eaglesoft or similar practice management software is preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages.
Commitment to maintaining high standards of infection control and aseptic technique.

Pay: $62.00 - $65.00 per hour
