Premier Care Dental is seeking a Full-time Dental Hygienist for our practice in Grants Pass, OR! $10k signing BONUS with a required one-year contract! Job Summary Our practice is growing, and we are in search for another hygienist to join our team, full-time! We are looking for an enthusiastic dental hygienist to join our growing patient-focused clinic. Our hygienists at Premier Care Dental have the ability to control their own schedule by setting their own patient template. We pride ourselves on focusing on a healthy foundation for each patient. Our doctors and hygienists work together on diagnosing periodontal therapy and are up to date on current AAP guidelines. We enjoy having regular meetings together to calibrate and discuss the multiple ways to help our patients achieve excellent oral health. As a Registered Dental Hygienist, you will perform various duties to help patients achieve and maintain their oral health. You will assist the Dentist by performing the initial screening, taking X-rays, and performing oral hygiene procedures. Duties/Responsibilities Welcome and greet patients Conduct initial oral screenings Identify conditions such as periodontal diseases, gingivitis Performing the appropriate oral hygiene procedure for each patient Educating patients on oral hygiene Sterilize dental instruments Follow infection control standards Maintain documentation and charts on each patient Required Skills/Abilities Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist or similar role Outstanding communication skills Friendly personality Attention to Detail Ability to keep up with physical demands of the job Diploma in Dental Hygiene Valid license to practice Education and Experience Licensed to practice Dental Hygiene X-ray certified Laser certified Basic knowledge of practice management software
