Dental Hygienist - Scottsdale Dentistry - Scottsdale, AZ

Our North Scottsdale, cosmetic and general office is looking for a dental hygienist for an established, fee for service practice, who focuses on quality care and integrating the most advanced treatment for our patients.
We are looking for an experienced hygienist with excellent communication skills to interact with patients effectively and the ability to work well in a team environment. Attention to detail, empathy and a commitment to patient care are essential qualities.
Monday-Thursday from 8am-5pm

Responsibilities

Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Conduct patient assessments and document medical histories in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Utilize dental software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix for patient records and scheduling.
Maintain a sterile environment by following aseptic techniques and managing dental instruments.
Communicate effectively with patients to address their concerns and provide exceptional care.

Qualifications

Valid dental hygiene license and certification
Proficient in chairside assisting and patient care
Strong understanding of dental terminology and medical records
Experience with dental software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix
Knowledge of aseptic techniques and HIPAA regulations
Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction
Ability to assess patient needs and provide quality care

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40.00 - $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 32 per week
