Duties

Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and vital signs.
Conduct thorough dental cleanings and scaling procedures while adhering to infection control protocols.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Document patient treatments and maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Utilize Eaglesoft software for documentation review and patient management.
Assist with the management of dental office operations, including scheduling appointments and maintaining a clean environment.
Collaborate with dentists to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Stay updated on the latest dental practices and technologies to provide the best care possible.

Experience

Previous experience as a Dental Hygienist is preferred but not required; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation review processes is essential.
Experience in dental assisting is a plus, along with knowledge of infection control standards.
Proficiency in using Eaglesoft or similar dental practice management software is advantageous.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment are crucial for success in this role.
