REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST (RDH) - Grand Valley Dentistry - Allendale, MI

Responsibilities:

Perform dental prophylaxis, periodontal scaling, root planning, and debridement
Conduct oral cancer screenings and take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays)
Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide sedation, as needed
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide post-operative care instructions
Assist dentists in providing comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and treatment plans

Qualifications:

Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist
Successful completion of an accredited dental hygiene program
Current CPR certification
Proficiency in dental hygiene procedures, including prophylaxis, scaling, and root planning
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, oral health, and dental hygiene products
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and team members
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail and adherence to infection control protocols
