Dental Assistant - Four Corners Dental Studio - Dallas, TX

OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team and state of the art practice.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing excellent patient care and supporting our dental professionals in delivering high-quality services. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow and patient comfort.
Perform four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during treatments.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols.
Take digital xrays
Maintain accurate patient records using open dental software.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Support front office duties as needed, including scheduling appointments and managing patient inquiries.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a positive patient experience.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or similar role in a dental clinic setting.
Proficiency in four-handed dentistry techniques and medical terminology.
Familiarity with prosthodontics procedures is a plus.
Experience with dental imaging equipment, including X-ray machines.
Knowledge of Dentrix or other dental practice management software is desirable.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Certification in dental assisting or relevant qualifications is preferred.
