OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. New grads are welcome! The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, ensuring optimal oral health for our patients. You will work closely with dentists and other dental hygienist to deliver comprehensive dental services in a friendly and efficient environment.
Duties

Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical histories and oral examinations.
Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing as needed.
Take dental X-rays to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation using Eaglesoft software.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies.
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient experience and satisfaction.

Requirements

Valid dental hygiene license in the state of Maine.
Proficiency in medical terminology related to dentistry.
Experience with patient care and assessment in a dental clinic setting.
Familiarity with general dentistry practices and procedures.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
