Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our dental team and ensuring that patients receive the highest quality of care. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology and procedures, as well as excellent interpersonal skills to create a welcoming environment for patients.
Duties

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, utilizing four-handed dentistry techniques.
Prepare and maintain the dental operatory, ensuring all instruments and materials are ready for use.
Perform medical imaging, including X-rays, and ensure proper documentation of findings.
Maintain accurate medical documentation for each patient visit, adhering to privacy regulations.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Manage patient records and appointments within the dental clinic software system.
Assist in prosthodontic procedures by preparing materials and instruments as needed.
Support pediatric dentistry by providing compassionate care to younger patients, ensuring their comfort during visits.

Qualifications

Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred, with knowledge of implant dentistry being a plus.
Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and equipment is essential.
Strong understanding of dental terminology and medical documentation practices.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
Certification in dental assisting or relevant training is highly desirable.
